"There you go, it works!" Steuerberatermagazin called out to us in December 2009. The reference is not to yet another award received by Steffen & Partner, but to our Tatort Steuern titled "Die Blonde und der Betriebsprüfer" (The Blonde and the Tax Auditor), which we produced in 2009. What is it? Well – our Tatort Steuern is a crime film dealing with murder and tax audits. Our aim was to convey tax law to our clients in an entertaining way. And along the way, the fictional firm at the centre of the plot – played by us, your real contacts at Steffen & Partner – also solves the murder. Inspector Schmied, the only professional actor, owes his investigative success to us, both on screen and in the casting. In any case, our work appears to have been successful enough that Steuerberatermagazin saw fit to highlight it with praise at the close of an article devoted to video marketing by Steuerberater (German Certified Tax Advisors).
