We consider the industry standard maintained by mid-sized and large firms to be highly sensible, and we are pleased to meet it. We are proud to be among the pioneers in our profession: Steffen & Partner Steuerberatungsgesellschaft mbB, headquartered in Bocholt, is certified to DIN EN ISO 9001 in the field of tax advisory services and is also certified by the Deutscher Steuerberater Verband.

Certificates and awards are not an end in themselves

Beyond the seal for our wall, every client gains a dedicated process composed of numerous sub-processes from different areas. We all work according to these processes every day, learn continuously, and strive to do better. At least once a week, the processes are reviewed in various sessions and adjusted where necessary.

In addition to formal certifications, we regularly put ourselves to the test: we participate in professional competitions and assessments held by trade publications. Not because we enjoy collecting medals, but because we are entrepreneurs and want to see where we stand — and whether we are on the right track. So much for our quality management.

The latest results confirm that this approach works: in 2026, Steffen & Partner was named a Top Tax Advisor by Focus-Money in the large-firms segment for the 17th consecutive time — and the Steuerberaterverband Westfalen-Lippe awarded us the "Excellent Employer 2026" seal for the fourth time (following 2022, 2024 and 2025). Making a difference.

A second dimension of quality is experience – immediate, hands-on experience. We all stand fully behind our group. Decisions are made jointly – together with our employees. This means that we do not look in only one direction, but form an opinion from different perspectives, which makes us a little stronger still.

Our working atmosphere is well above average, staff turnover is negligible, and this certainly has a positive impact on the quality of our services. In this sense, quality also means making a difference for us.
