BAFF: "Bocholt Award for Family Friendliness"

The Steffen & Partner group was honoured with the BAFF award in the 20-80 employees category. BAFF stands for "Bocholter Auszeichnung für FamilienFreundlichkeit" (Bocholt Award for Family Friendliness). The award recognises both general family friendliness within a company and individual measures and projects that particularly promote family-friendly working conditions. It is initiated by the [Bündnis für Familie in Bocholt e.V.](http://www.buendnis-fuer-familie-in-bocholt.de/ "Bündnis für Familie in Bocholt") and, following its first presentation in 2011, was awarded for the second time. The award ceremony took place in a festive setting alongside the "Company of the Year" prize initiated by Stadtsparkasse Bocholt on 10 October 2013 at Hotel Residenz.

We have been honoured with the "Bocholter Auszeichnung für FamilienFreundlichkeit" (Bocholt Award for Family Friendliness) in the 20-80 employees category. It is a great honour for us. The award recognises both general family friendliness within a company and individual measures and projects that particularly promote family-friendly working conditions. It is initiated by the Bündnis für Familie in Bocholt e.V. and, following its first presentation in 2011, was awarded for the second time. The award ceremony took place in a festive setting alongside the "Company of the Year" prize initiated by Stadtsparkasse Bocholt on 10 October 2013 at Hotel Residenz. The jury for the 2013 company award was composed of representatives from the fields of church, business, labour and social affairs: Mr Joachim Anicker, Superintendent of the Steinfurt-Coesfeld-Borken Church District; Ms Diana Brömmel, Unternehmerfrauen im Handwerk, Borken District; Ms Hildegard Frieling-Heipel, Managing Director of Caritas-Verband Bocholt; Prof. Katrin Hansen, Vice-President of Westfälische Hochschule; Mr Hans-Joachim Hebing, 1st Authorised Representative of IG Metall Bocholt; Ms Gisela Pieron, Deputy Chair of the IHK Regional Committee for the Borken District; Dr Kai Zwicker, District Administrator of the Borken District. Mayor Peter Nebelo is the patron of the BAFF company competition. The next award ceremony will take place in 2015 – we strongly encourage you to apply and take part.
